I limit my color palette to mostly warm tones with strongly contrasted values (lights and darks).In this video I give you the 5 basic watercolor techniques that are essential for completing a classical watercolor portrait. This method is the one I used when I started painting portraits in watercolor, and from time to time I enjoy it on my current portraits. It is a realistic style that emphasizes blending and a close rendering of form.
